PLC Programmer
Your Responsibilities:
- Program, troubleshoot, and maintain Siemens PLCs, HMI systems, and industrial control systems
- Support production and maintenance by diagnosing and resolving automation and equipment issues
- Implement automation improvements to increase machine reliability, efficiency, and productivity
- Participate in continuous improvement initiatives through process optimization and control system enhancements
- Support new equipment installations, machine commissioning, and production startups
- Maintain PLC programs, software backups, electrical documentation, and control system records
- Support preventive and predictive maintenance activities related to automation equipment
Your Profile:
- 3 to 5 years of experience in industrial automation or controls engineering within a manufacturing environment
- Extensive experience programming and troubleshooting Siemens PLC systems is required
- Experience with Siemens TIA Portal, STEP 7, WinCC, and HMI development preferred
- Strong knowledge of industrial electrical systems, machine controls, sensors, drives, and automation equipment
- Associate's degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechatronics, or a related field preferred
- Must be able to work on-site in Lavonia, GA
